In our FLL program, each student gets a binder which is known as their Engineering Notebook. It will have the tools they will need to succeed in the programming and robot building aspect of our program. The Engineering Notebook is a compilation of the resources we have found useful through our work with FLL and programming. The links are available for anyone to use if they are starting an FLL team, or are teaching programming in their school, or community.
There is a section in their binders dedicated to keeping notes, paper programming, and designing. This is highly recommended for teams in FLL but is already provided in the EPRA programs.
Students are expected to bring their Engineering notebooks back to robotics if they bring theirs home for extra research. We do encourage bringing the Engineering Notebooks home, as long as they come back. The Engineering Notebooks are an integral part of our FLL program.
Anyone who would like to use the notes may, all we ask is that you send us picture of your team using it. Send them to epraprograms@gmail.com
Here is where you can find the links to the Engineering Notebook notes.
